07/05/2010The room was nice, and the shower was great. airport shuttle and bowling stadium shuttle very timely. mel's diner is on the first floor, good food.

Enjoyed the Sands very much. Seven members of my family stayed several nights and it was great time. Fun at the pool and enjoyed the live band. Great prices for drinks and food. Will stay there again.

We did not like the fact that you had to walk through the casino to get to our room. The room was nice and spacious but for a non smoking room still had some smell of smoke. Most of the hotels we have stay at recently had a business center to access the internet for free, not so at the Sands Regency. Internet access is .30 a minute. The furnace / air conditioner unit in the room was real noisey, louder than you would normally expect from a a/c unit. There are train tracks that go right by the hotel and one morning it sounded as if the train was coming right into the room.
